Who we are
Dr. Frances Kiernan
Frances is a medical doctor, geneticist and innovator who developed their first AI algorithm in 1997. At that time Frances was completing an MSc in AI and Music Technology, the outcome of which was a C++ application called CRANN (Composer Recognition Using Artificial Neural Networks), a work that was academically recognised and presented at international conferences in Europe, Scandinavia and the United States. Frances studied human genetics and gained an MSc in Genomic Medicine before becoming a medical doctor. Frances is a clinical Innovation Fellow at Mid & South Essex NHS Trust.

Danielle Acerra
Danielle is the Managing Director of NOAH (the American National Organization for Arts in Health). A passionate visual artist with a BFA in jewelry and metal-smithing from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia she had her own mural business in New Jersey before becoming involved in community development and arts administration. While working as the Community Engagement Manager at Monmouth County Arts Council she worked with ArtHelps grantees in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy and helped to build and empower communities through arts initiatives. This work continued while working for Atlantic Healthcare System before moving to NOAH.
